Eva Magill-Oliver is an artist based in Georgia, known for her delicate, meditative collages and drawings that explore the elements of the natural world. Currently, her work reflects themes of transition, influenced by her recent return to the United States after several years in Paris, France.

Her art is inspired by abstractions and patterns found in nature and organic environments. Eva feels a deep connection to the constantly evolving natural surroundings, which serve as both a subject and a source of inspiration for her work.

Using pencil, pen and ink, and cut paper on paper, she creates compositions that blend texture and form. The variety of materials she employs mimics the textures of nature, while the collage aspect introduces an element of controlled transformation, with each new layer adding to the overall design.

In addition to her two-dimensional work, Eva collaborated with Asheville, NC ceramicist Laura Cooke on a line of user-friendly pottery, which debuted at Michael Mitchell in April 2017.
